Tsunami Surfers Tofino is the exclusive Canadian dealer/distributor for Danai Stand-Up Paddle Boards. Our boards are hand-shaped and hand-glassed Hawaiian designs made of the highest quality materials, best methods, by experienced skilled shapers. Our product range includes 11 different SUP models for riders of all sizes and skill levels. High quality, strength, and durability for all types of paddling conditions; from extreme wave riding, to open water distance paddling, to flat water cruising.

Tsunami Surfers Tofino is an on-line retailer. We have no retail outlet, this helps keep our prices low. Boards can be viewed by private appointment at my office in Tofino. Purchased boards can be picked up in Tofino or shipped anywhere. All boards are sold as packages; including stand-up board, carbon fibre paddle, deck pad, leash, and travel bag.

Each and every Danai stand-up paddle board is handcrafted and traditionally shaped by hand. You will appreciate the high performance construction with every paddle stroke. You will feel the stability and responsiveness with every wave you catch.

The Fin Design of Danai SUP Boards follows that of a Dolphin.Important note about Danai Fins.
Danai Fins follow natural lines that do not snag kelp and eel grass.

This is unlike other brands that I have tried, many have had the wrong fin shape for our waters and would load up on kelp and eel grass - creating unwanted drag.

This is not the case with Danai Fin set-ups.

Homeport is in Tofino, British Columbia on the west coast of Vancouver Island. From here we can access some of the healthiest offshore and inshore fishing grounds in the Pacific Ocean. As well, these waters have made Tofino the go to destination for Surfing & Kayaking.

Hymax Charters offers a unique Kayak drop off & pick-up service. The Hymax is able to accomodate up to 10 singles, or 5 doubles. Pickup/Dropoff service available to anywhere in the Clayoquot Sound.
